Websites began to optimize their content to appear in search results, and businesses started building email lists to engage customers.
  • Mobile and Video Marketing: in the 2010s, the proliferation of smartphones and mobile apps changed the digital marketing landscape. Video marketing, particularly, while businesses began optimizing their websites for mobile viewing.
